Seviyan
Sweet Vermicelli — roasted in ghee with sugar & dry fruits
Ingredients
| Ghee | 3 tbsp |
| Vermicelli, dried | 1 cup |
| Water | ½ cup |
| Sugar (adjust to taste) | 1½ tbsp |
| Dry fruits (pistachios, almonds, cashews, raisins) | ½ cup |
Method
Melt the ghee in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add the dry vermicelli and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant.
Add sugar and water. Stir gently. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 7–10 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
Serve hot, garnished with dry fruits.
